Welcome to the second edition of the Table Top Times! Today we are going to explore the vibrant jungles of Eona and dive a little bit into what's happening behind the screens. So read on, brave adventurer! We hope you're enjoying our quest as much as we are.
Jungles
We start our journey on the grand continent of Weyth'tal. There exists a smaller kingdom on its southwest coast. This kingdom, called Laapula, is covered mostly by the Kadian Rainforest.
The Kadian is an expansive jungle that hosts a massive array of plants and animals making up its unique ecosystem. This dusky rainforest has many trees, as any self-respecting forest does, but none as environmentally defining as the Canopy of Heaven.
These gargantuan trees shoot up from one hundred to two hundred feet high when fully grown. The canopies, a defining trait in its name choice, cover the rainforest in dimly lit conditions that deepen to absolute darkness past Kadian's treeline. These canopies collect all the nutrients from the two suns and the suns spiritual energy. The tree then releases any energy and nutrients it doesn't use into sap that falls from the canopies to the forest floor when it rains. This turns an afternoon deluge in the jungle into a feast for the vast array of animals and plants that rely on the Canopy of Heaven to survive.
Juggling
The crew at Table Time loves (like most content creators) to do the work ourselves. Whether that be making videos on Eona, digging into sound and video editing, or drawing to try to meet the unrealistic standards of your social media team. We enjoy every bit of it, but it gets a little chaotic sometimes. So here's what a few of the Table Time crew are up to.
Zane, one of our social team, broke his hand at his day job and had to get five stitches. He is now 24% slower at responding to comments on Instagram. He's said he will make a full recovery, but the jury is still out amongst the rest of the crew. They are heavily considering a replacement cyberware finger. Stated to double productivity.
Rain has been busy hiding from the rest of the team as they hunt him down for information (that he should know all of) on world details and character backstories. He has barred his front door and put a note that reads, "No admittance except on party business!" in fancy font.
Jacob has been extremely busy drawing maps and learning how planets work. He's adopted wearing a tinfoil hat at night to "keep them from reading his thoughts." His own words. The team as a whole is a little worried, but also considering a recent DnD-related head injury, they think he'll be back to normal in no time. They hope. He's also been starting his character drawing. Take a peek!

That's it for this installment of the Table Top Times, join us next month and until then please subscribe!
